How can I get my palm-mutes closer to the reference amp?

Any news on this? I am currently struggling to get the palm mutes right. They sound too boomy and fuzzy. And refining the sound with palm mutes only seem to make it worse.

The reference amp signal in the profiler sounds great!

My setup:
JetCity JCA100H -> Palmer PGA-04 (unfiltered output only) -> Line6 UX2 -> LogicX -> Recabinet
UX2 analog out -> KPA return

I can do some recordings if that helps.
