What do you guys use?
The main two I see talked about on forums are Atomic CLR and Friedman ASM-12.
What are other options?

I went economy until I can figure out my next step - I use a Tech 21 Power Engine after Michael Britt's recommendation to me over on the Gear Page (what he initially tests his profiles on if I understood him correctly). It does the trick (for now).
I'm using a pair of QSC K10s.
I am using a Roland KC350 and it sounds awesome! It's portable and looks like a guitar amp and is cheaper than a PA speaker. It also offers multiple inputs and you can add a sub if you want.
Thanks all. The Tech 21 looks like an affordable first step. I'm just playing straight into my Yamaha Passport PA right now.
I use Mission Gemini cabs, more traditional looking than some choices out there, not the cheapest that's for sure but they sound great and disperse better than anything else I've heard..
The FRFR cabinets that many people are using are the Yamaha DXR10 and the Atomic CLR.

This! I use them both even.
I use an Atomic CLR
I'm still using my trusty QSC K12 after learning to use the output EQ of KPA. I was tempted to sell this early on to buy Atomic CLR or Yamaha DRX since it was the talk of the town then and I think until now.
Dsr112 here and super happy.

Hey, that''s not a bad tip !
A keyboard-amp is also FR isn't it?

Yes they are
I'm currently testing the 'Alto SXM 112', it's an active Floor Monitor with 12" coax. After about 2 hours I'm impressed. Ithas a very nice midrange, loud as hell, compact (10kg) and cheap. I paid 299 EUR. I guess I'll keep it.
I've got a PA-rig with a stack of Yamaha DSRs (112+118W) so I've used the DSR112s a bit. I had Yamaha DXR10s for my profiler, but have recently replaced those with Dynacord AXM 12A. The Dynacord compares to Atomic CLR wedge, both wrt price and audio quality, but is considerably easier to find in stores around Europe.
Update: After a couple of rehearsals and two gigs with the ALTO SXM 112 I'm still convinced. It sounds really good, sound does not change if I move around (its a coax) and it was loud enough even at an open air gig (supported by a sidefill monitor for band sound).
So, it fulfils all my must have criteria with one very nice additional feature - it's light and it's handy. My two guitar gig bags in the one hand, the ALTO in the other one and the Kemper GigBag over my shoulder - means one way from car to stage - do I miss my 4X12...?
At 299 EURO it was good value for my bucks.

After looking at a picture of the back - how do you hook up the Kemper? I don't see inputs for left/right. Thanks. I do like the price $249 USD on eBay.
There's an XLR/TRS combo jack on the upper left corner of the rear panel. This isn't a stereo monitor, so there is just the one input (no left/right).
Is there anything full range and powered that is in the shape of the Mesa horizontal 2x12? I've also wanted one of those...

I believe Mission makes powered cabs that are full range and similar in shape to traditional cabs. I've got a Mesa horizontal 2x12. It sounds great, but it's big and heavy, and doesn't fit in my car.
