Mateo, a TRS balanced to XLR cable is absolutely fine. No problem. It will work identical, in this application, to what your current connection configuration (KPA Main Out XLR to XLR Input on your Friedman). However, unless you need to free up the XLR Outputs on your KPA, there is no reason to buy this cable...your current connection works just as well.

To clarify, TS in an unbalanced 1/4" plug, TRS is a balanced one.
i would assume a TRS plug into a TS jack socket would work flawlessly, since it will take the signal from the only "hot" line available in the socket.
I've been taking a look at these for my Kemper. The one thing I noticed right away from the CLR is the inputs/outputs. The Friedman only has XLR? If I wanted to run my kemper through it, I usually send both XLRs to FOH for the mains and I would use the monitor out to whatever speaker I have on stage. I'm guessing, as suggested here, going 1/4" to direct box and then XLR to Friedman would work? Or an adapter? Anyone have a link?

Looks like I've decided to pick up one of the Friedman ASM-12 monitors. I've been reading and researching non stop over the last few days and initially was going to try a CLR but I prefer the guitar cab sound and feel. Hoping to order one this week.
Take a Red Sound into consideration too... linear, with a feeling for the guitar cab lovers
