Tutorial: Creating User Scales for the Harmonic Pitch effect

Make two or three of the same patch, with a different scale set up on each.
I did that before, but then you have to start tapdancing and that's not my biggest skill -
Soon, you will be able to morph from one scale to another

Hadn't thought of that but could be excellent use of morphing

You you could use morph to hold a sustaining note, with harmonies, and have the harmonies move with a chord change.

I used two harmonic pitchshifters in the X and Mod slots and alternated between them using the remote. Works like a charm.

You'd have to press two buttons on the Remote, right? Once press the Assign to X button, and once press the Assign to MOD button, to change the scale? And I need 4 of them for Highway Star -
No, you can assign a switched-off and a switched-on stomp to the same button, and when pressing the FX button, they simply swap states. ;o)
But if you really need 4 pitchshifters for Highway Star...
1. can I have a copy of your Perfomance? ;o)
2. I'd use 4 slots approach just for the sake of controlability, the 1 remaining slot should be enough to cover the rythm parts of the song. -

Hi Rene,Thanks for the explanation. I discovered that also this weekend. And I also discovered that I can play the entire solo with just one scale - so everything's cool now!
Cheers,
Eric -
Thank you Lokasenn, this was a big help.
Question: Is there an online repository of User scales anywhere (couldn't find one)?
This thread inspired me to create three (albeit pretty simple) Major user scales (starting with 0 as your root):
