I sent mine in for repair about a month ago and the KPA service center were very quick think i had mine back within 7 days thats with shipping to Germany repaired and then shipped back to my dealer and then to me. So i was very happy

Mine has been repared in two weeks (and I live in Italy, like Viabcroce), sending it back to the factory via the shop where I bought it.

Are you using a single coil guitar with a high clean sens setting? The green LED will be triggered because the buzz from the guitar has a certain pitch. It should also be visible in the actual tuner display.

Not only, I also use a kind of PRS. And the behaviour of the Remote is definitely different from the Profiler's in this respect.

My first led died last weekend. An my KPA is out of warranty as I bought it on January 2012...
I had "dead" stomp led issue some time ago - and i discovered that it was results of my play with MIDI parameters. Then i send some sysex command to KPA to enable the LED and it is working:)
But maybe this case is different.
