I remember gigging with one of these. This dirty one isn't mine. I think it had 16 presets and I was thrilled. Analog modeling!!!! I did like turning around and seeing the little lights so I always knew what was going on though.
Fractal AX8 ..... US $1,399 ..... thats just CRAZY !!! :) :) :)

Even the Peavey Transformer 112 didn't use the leds (only one led at a time) the same way as Kemper do. But, anyways, it's a sooo minor innovation compare to all the rest...
-
Woosh.
LEDs were invented in 1962 and since then used as indicator lights. Everybody after the first implementer has coldheartedly copied the method and therefore infringed on human rights of photons involved.
Why not use sharcs (s.i.c.) with lasers or bioluminescent magic shrooms?
Out of imagination much?
</sarcasm>You really can't see the difference? The way the Kemper uses the LEDS and the way it was used on BEHRI?

I said it before an il say it again, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
Cliff is clearly a kemper fan, not that it surprises me( kemper is a great unit after all)
-
The question is what else is copied by the naval engineer. Bet he has trying his best back engineered the shit out of the Kemper.
Our naval engineer takes competition like warfare. But theft is what it is ......... theft. -
By the way AXE forum is closed until November 2nd due to like they say, maintenance or maybe removing "bad" comments

[Blocked Image: http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m268/Gizmo1952/bcr2000_zps3itl97jx.jpg]In Kemper's LED rings the LEDs are not just off or on They can be off, on and much more between

It's obvious that Cliff found his inspiration in the BCR200 rather than the Kemper...☺

You mean photon rights, don't you? You know - Japanese photon lights. -

However, there where times that was recognized as a theft. In addition, there where also times where thieves hand was chopped off.
It's not my way to think that's good, of course. But as a designer you do often the experience that someone copied your idea. Many people name this general change or globalisation. Mostly the copiers.
The problem is: I used to work and others make the money. We can understand that as a tribute. However, it disregards you, too. For some it comes the day these things let them loose there jobs.
The flattery has no worth but nice words, if the stomach growls. -

Ok, I entered old URL. It works with new ones.

So I think the main point here is we want Kemper to bring out the "vamp" option!

I have a V-Amp 2 I could profile if anyone is interested. But I can't think why, I'm not interested myself. It doesn't get much use these days with the Kemper around. -
