Interesting ...
It seems that the Helix is happy with everything around the desired pitch to display it as "in tune" while the KPA is spot on with the Peterson:

Yep, that's my video. I created it to back up my request on Line 6's Ideascale site to improve the Helix tuner. A processor with 2 giant brains shouldn't have a subpar tuner.

You're not the first to question the accuracy of the Helix tuner. There should be ample processing capability in the box so I assume it will be addressed in a firmware update. It seems to be mostly a question of granularity of the display-component of the tuner. I.e a UI-design flaw.
The KPA-tuner is among the better industry. Its accuracy is excellent. My only reason for not using it (I use a Peterson StroboStomp Classic) is that it lacks support for compensated tuning, and I have a bunch of guitars set up with the Buzz Feiten tuning system.

yep - I'd like the Feiten Tuning being supported too.
-
I'd like to see the same video with the string actually being (perfectly) IN tune before I'd make any judgements on the accuracy of the KPA in relation to the Peterson
-
wow the kpa tuner is precise! the only thing is that to be like the peterson it needs to show numbers or a way to show the tuning shift. for a gig tuning is ok, but for luthiers and intruments intonation the numbers or a shift meter is mandatory, in my opinion

I wish the KPA had a Turbo Tuner-style stroboscopic display. So fast, so easy to read ... pretty much the only thing I ever learned about on TGP that strikes me as objectively "the best". The Kemper's tuner is accurate and fast, I use it. But zeroing in on a center target will never be as easy as the stroboscopic method. It must be do-able!
two thumbs up! I have been asking for a strobo like tuner since years already. But I'm afraid it is going to remain as it is due to the fact that it is a sort of flag now...not to mention that it was not meant to be a competitor to other tuners on the market. I guess it was meant to be just a...tuner
