I am currently using the EP1-KP with the "off at heel" position and it works ok, but sometimes I don't always return it to heel. The other settings just don't work for me. Was hoping I could use the switch just a regular old wah like I am used to.
Is there a way to use the button switch on the EP1-KP to turn the wah on and off like a regular wah?

Plug the switch into the back of the KPA or the Remote, and Assign the switch to the Effect Slot that contains the Wah.

Paults, I have the remote, so how do I assign the switch to the effects slot. Which screen? Any chance of a basic step by step?

@wedewer: You need to assign the wah on/off status to one of the switches of the Remote. In order to do this, press the switch on the Remote and the stomp button the wah is in simultaneously.
Make sure you switch off any bypass@stop/heel/toe options in the wah menu as you want to turn it on and off manually. -
The Remote offers four TRS-sockets named “PEDAL 3” to “PEDAL 6” to connect expression pedals. If you should happen to require more switches, you can connect momentary mono and stereo switches to these sockets, too. Their functions can be assigned in the System menu of the Profiler, which is described in great detail in the “System menu” chapter of the Reference Manual.
Switches can be used for all kinds of tasks, such as switching effects, engaging the tuner, or tapping the tempo.
Connect your switch to one of the PEDAL inputs.
Go to the System Menu page for the Pedal Input.
Select the desired function with soft knob 4.
