Effects are big part of my playing . After the G systems tc i thought i woudn't find similar quality but..........i was wrong

I also came from using a G-System, and agree the KPA effects are underrated.

I don't get this. Usually FX in recordings are always post cab, and they don't sound "dull".
When I use effects they are used in the loop of the amp, this is before the speaker cabinet of course.
The effect is applied to the whole preamp signal not the filtered signal that comes out of the cabinet.
Of course if you apply effect in your DAW this is on the whole signal so I know what to expect here.

I, too, feel the Kemper effects are very good - and they keep improving over time 
I was playing with the chorus and univibe earlier on and was thinking the same thing

Well I know that, but i don't feel that putting an fx after or before the cab block makes anything dull or not.

I have read that on here prior but from experience I didn't believe it. Considering the possibility of this being true, wouldn't the effects of studio profiles be applied to the cab driver algorithm? How would this effect the sound?
I also read @ckemper stated there is band limiting in the Kemper that is for the most part unnoticeable, which he stated someday may be remove.
It is possible that this is causing what I perceive.

For starters prior to merging Kemper could not determine where the power amp pre amp separation was and this is where the effects loop generally is.
Is this related? We are discussing whether the FX section is before or after the cab section, not the Amp section.
OTOH, the merged profiles do not separate the pre from the power section, but the cab from the (global) amp section.
The Profiler, AFAIK, has no way to know where the (profiled) pre and the power amp meet.

I don't want to derail this too much but technically one could determine the power/pre split with merging by using the effects loop out profile instead of the Direct amp profile.
If we are talking Kemper has effects placed in profile via cabdriver then I suppose it is estimated between cab/power and pre?
It would be great if someone from Kemper could verify were the effects are in the chain in relation to preamp and power amp. GString
Of course you can profile a pre only, but then you'll miss the power amp section of the reference amp.
In order to have two separate logic blocks referring to the pre and the power amp in the Profiler you should profile them separately (using a neutral pre for profiling the power amp), and then the Profiler should be able to run the two profiles in series. Exactly like profiling an amp driven by a distortion pedal: no way for the Profiler to see them as two independent blocks.
