My Friedman BE100 Profiles on Rig Exchange

I know that there are tons of Friedman BE100 profiles out there but I thought I'd share mine anyways.

This is from a single input version of the BE100.

The rig names are: "BE100DF01", "BE100DF02", "BE100DF03" (very creative, I know)

Here are the settings:

(Numbers are based on numbers on faceplate of the amp and not clock face)

Presence: 5
Bass: 4
Middle: 8
Treble: 7
Master: 2
Gain: 10
Voice Switch: Right
Fat Switch: Off
C45 Switch: Off
SAT Switch: Off

Cab: Friedman 4x12 w/ Scumback M75 speakers

Mic: Shure SM57 about 1 inch away from the speaker grill

All are Studio profiles (i.e. not Merged or Direct)

The only difference between the three profiles is the mic position. Please use the diagram below as a reference.

BE100DF01: On Axis & Cone
BE100DF02: On Axis & Cap Edge
BE100DF03: On Axis & Cap

I made these profiles for my own personal preferences and for the "sound in my head" and I love the sound of it every time I play them. I usually use profile #2.

Please let me know if you have any comments on the profile (good or bad).

Well here's one for ya. I couldn't find it in the search because I had RM open for a couple days and just turned the KPA on/off when using it. Evidently Rig Manager doesn't refresh the Rig Exchange database unless you open/close the program. Which after doing so revealed the rigs with the same search. Bingo.... Thanks again for the upload, will try soon.

frack yea, these are awesome. i like #1 with the treble turned up a touch to sound more like #2.

If i understand the graphics correctly my favouirte mike position is:

1. On axis straight 2. Cap edge 3. and THEN moving the mike stand just a little bit to the cone edge, 3 cm, it kills a little bit of harshness
