That went pretty well, a kind of jazzed up version of '70's Film and TV themes, the Kemper sounded excellent through an EVM 12L that I've had for about 25 years and has never sounded as good. Next up, the Barrowlands in Glasgow. I did take the opportunity of running the main out in mono to the small desk at the venue with the main outs down by about 18db, as I'd heard they were quite hot. The sound from the front of house was excellent

That sounds like a fun gig!

Yup, it was great. My pal had done arrangements for two horns and rhythm section. The theme from taxi was in there, I think that was originally Tommy Tedesco and Larry Carlton but stand to be corrected and I even got the banjo patch out for the Cantina Band from Star Wars. The banjo patch is scarily accurate by the way.

Notes to self after the second gig, quite a lot bigger than the first,
1. Put the volume pedall after the preamp
2. The KPA takes a little while to boot up so restart it up sometime before the big finale to save the stress of watching it boot up just in time to play the first notes
3. Pop the volume of the clean rigs up quite a biton the upside, the monitor guys loved it and are now thinking of getting one, the Marshall rig was extraordinary and I left the EVM 12L in the car
