The UPS man delivered my "Xmas present" today. I hooked it up just to see if it could be what I was looking for in the AFX Ultra and 2 since '08. I didn't hook up the Remote, just plugged into two
QSC monitors and turned it on. Two and a half hours later I came out to see if the world was still intact. I went through the first 30-40 presets and this could be it!! It is very fluid, dynamic, and responsive. Losing track of time just playing is a godsend and I haven't had that lately. It seems that I've been too busy tweaking the Ultra first and then the 2. I don't want to sound like they aren't
great pieces of gear, some great stuff has come out of them, but I don't have the time to tweak all of the parameters that I had to, to get that sound. I think that's on me, and I didn't want to do it anymore. I just started going through the Kemper presets, Profiles? Maybe adjusting the gain to see the response. Trying clean, crunch, and crushing presets. I found myself just playing and not constantly have to mess with something because it seemed off. That is what I was looking for, and so far so good.

Welcome !
This is what I love about the Kemper too, just scroll through the rigs to find a good sounding amp and start playing.
Remember though, the profiles are -everything- when it comes to the kemper.
Find a good commercial profiler that suits your sound needs and you are set.
You might have to try a few to find one whose micing techniques match your taste.Gluck !
