If i was to import rigs from my USB stick would it install all that is in my shared folder or only new rigs that i do not have in my KPA yet? .i just do not want a bunch of duplicate rigs.

No, duplicates won't be created. In addition, you'll be informed of how many rigs were copied and not.

Just to clarify, if I'm not mistaken you CAN end up with duplicates. If, for any reason, you re-save a profile again inside the KPA and later perform an import operation, the KPA will interpret the profiles as different and end up re-importing the one from the USB drive. I suspect this is due to the KPA keying off the file dates. If the dates differ then the KPA considers the profiles different and will import the one from the USB drive again, potentially causing a duplicate named profile to appear in the KPA.
If I'm wrong about this some of the more senior KPA users can chime in, but what I describe above seems to be what I recently experienced.
