So I got my Kemper Rack-version yesterday for live shows and a fitting rack - however the kemper doesn't sit on the racks floor when screwed in but rather hangs about 2cm above the racks floor in the air - should I be concerned that something happens when it's just hanging in the air or does it hold up well?
Kemper "hangs" in the rack - should I be concerned?

This is no problem, I have it mounted in a rack as well. The front plate is designed strong enough to hold it in position, given all four screws are tight. -
Alright, thats good to hear. Thanks a lot!

Yes, the front panel is plenty sturdy enough to support the weight of the unit under normal conditions. If it's a concern, though, it's easy enough to put something under the feet at the rear of the unit so that it isn't just suspended by the front panel.

Just "wood" shim it if you want to, but as long as the screws are tight in the front its a non issue.

Hannes, all rack-mountable gear is designed to "hang".
The fact that the Kemper rack has feet means that the designers wanted to provide the option for non-slip table-top use should one choose to use it free-standing.
