Hi guys
I just got a Kemper power rack from Sweetwater Sound . So far , this thing is very cool and the clean sounds are actually very good .The EQ is also very powerful and musical sounding . At the moment, my unit has 3.2.0 firmware (11524) . This unit was a demo model so I'm checking the forum on how to do a factory reset and if my firmware is up to date . Then I need to figure out how to download profiles and transfer them to my Kemper.
IF you guys can paste links to current threads that I missed , it would be great . in the mean time , I will keep reading .Thanks.
First day with my Kemper Power Rack

Hi and welcome on board. The easiest to get profiles on your KPA is with rig manager. Download it from the Kemper website and make sure you are on the latest FW, Enjoy

Hi guys...
IF you guys can paste links to current threads that I missed , it would be great . in the mean time , I will keep reading .Thanks.You mean links to all 5,000+ threads? Sure, no problem!
I would suggest looking around the forum when you get time. As Raoul said above, just install and run Rig Manager and select the "Rig Exchange". There are more than 6,900 rigs you can choose from

Hello Paul, welcome

Thanks for the links .By the way , I don't want all 7 thousand threads. Just new stuff that the average Joe might overlook . I just watched some of the new feature videos like morphing, pure cab, etc.
By the way, how many rigs can the Kemper hold maximum ?

I think it's capped at 1000 for the browse pool, plus 127 x 5 for Performance mode. Most people just keep the absolutely necessary Rigs on their KPA and use Rig Manager for storage, though (reduces boot time).

It it really capped now, Sam?
IIRC, it used to be constrained only by the amount of memory used by the FW, performance slots, FX-processing allocation and so on. I'm pretty sure I heard of folks' having installed 1300+ with room to spare.

I think that was pre- Performance mode, Nicky. With the introduction of Performances, it was capped at 1000 Rigs (in the Browse pool). Correct, @DonPetersen?
