Kemper the right thing for me? Which Monitors? Poweramp?

Good day guys,
I want a really good sound to play at home and to record for the first time (and hopefully continue). A good tone is very important to me because my Roland Cube sounds like shit and I don´t want to practice as much because the sound sucks.
Maybe some time later id like to play in a Band too.
I went to a shop played alot of Amps but couldn´t decide which one to get because I liked alot of them. (For example: Dual Rectifier, Diezel Herbert, Engl Savage etc.)
Do you guys think the Kemper is a good alternative for me?
Id like to get it without PA and remote to safe money and get some active Speakers. (Good plan?)
What are good Speakers for Kemper (metal) 200-500€

Definitely the Kemper would be for you.
And for playing at home the Yamaha HS8’s are great monitors.

I heard you have to put them far away from the wall?! Id like to position them relatively close to the wall so maybe get the Adam F7 or Focal Alpha 65?

The positioning away from the wall relates to physics, not to the Yamaha's.
Also the Adam F7's and the Focal's will get a bass boost if positioned in close proximity to a wall.

Welcome. The Kemper will give you many tonal options at lower volume for home use. Studio monitors are a good way to start, but I personally prefer my Yamaha DXR10 these days, even in my home studio. However, that might be due to the particular monitors I use. Enjoy!

The Kemper will be a great tool for you. It will have everything you need and to experiment with and if you do get in a band later it will be great for that also. I monitor at home through my Yamaha HS8s which sound great and translate well on other systems

I've got five Mesa/Boogies, two Marshalls, a Fender, and a bunch of rack gear. Haven't use much of any of it since buying a Kemper. For me, the sounds are that good.

Well I've got about 500 fenders, 500 Marshalls, 300Mesa boogies etc and they are all kept in Rig Manager my own Amp Locker lol

Hey guys,
after reading a lot here and in other forums I registered last week.... I'm in a similar situation and so I decided to "hi-jack" this thread.(hope thats ok)
I'm a beginner guitarist (although I have my western guitar and my Ibanez Art 120wh for about 6years) and I have just been practising on a regular basis for the last 6-8months.
Nonetheless I'm getting tired of my micro cube and I'd like to get me a kemper.
I think the ratio headphones/monitors usage is going to be 70/30 or even 80/20. Still I'd like to to be able to play "loud". So I'm stuck in the decision process...Should I get the Kemper Powerhead+Camper 112 DIY or "normal" Kemper+Dxr10/12 or "normal" Kemper+HS8?
I'm going to use the kemper at my home office but I'd like to have the option of playing at a friend's house,too...
So the HS8 wouldn't make that much sense or is this setup preferable for home usage?

Hello again guys! I made myself a new account because I had issues posting answers with the old one! A friend of mine told me to get these monitors http://www.thomann.de/de/krk_r…=search_rslt_krk_322747_1 he said they were excellent for rock and metal. What do you think? My room is actuallly pretty small.. I guess 6" could maybe be enough?! Or are 8" fine for small rooms too?
