  • Dam man, was that you or John playing that :D
I have been taking your advice about not boosting the amp and experimenting
Yes some of us read and take your advice.

  • Thx Guido! I think I'll just type out the tweaks into the original post - that's probably easiest.

Ash, I'm not a self-bashing type of guy - I know I'm not terrible, but I clearly need practice. I can't get through a simple demo without making mistakes and getting choppy. Even the parts I got right still have additional string noise - when you use that gain you have to be laser precise.

I've been devoting most of my time to endeavors other than strengthening my guitar work, so it's no surprise to me that I can't just belt out some high speed Petrucci...especially while the red light is on.

Anyway, I am going to start wrapping other things up (anyone who wants a sneak peak, please PM me), then moving on to some serious technique training.

  • Thank you for you sincere efforts and hard work man

  • Thanks. Guido likes to keep his packs small and raw rather than bloat them with bunches of tone matches or other personal directions that may not work across the board, but im happy to keep posting sweet tweaks as i find them.

Little tip for anyone trying the above tweaks - they are all quite similar. Its easiest to dial one in from scratch then base the others off Store As on that one - then youll only have a few small tweaks to make going forwards.

  • Exactly! I wanna keep the rig packs small and leave them like there were profiled in the studio without any tweaks (except EFX).
But It's always a good idea if people share their personal settings and showing more sound possibilities.

    THX Bobbo ;)
