Yep, stated by Mothership.
(Things might be different as a matter of fact, but Germans are usually not that kind of guys )

My grandma used to say "never watch shows like The Big Bang Theory".
Didn't your me--maw and his me-maw get along? -
Aren't the delays coming out in this upcoming 4.0?? I thought with a huge jump from 3.2 to 4.0 the delays would be there!! Does anyone know for sure, just curious.
My understanding is that they aren't. There is a Namm video where Christopher Kemper says the delays are coming out later.

ITS HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BUT ITS CALLED 3.3.0 !

Häää??? Just found "Profiler Operating System 3.3.0 Public Beta" for download. All users are waiting for 4.0
and we get a 3.3.0 Public Beta? Are you as disappointed as i am?
My question is: Does it make sense to install or should i wait for 4.0? -
The changelog doesn't mention morphing either. I will be home late tonight and can't check it until then
-
Anyone installed yet? Im assuming its just bug fixes from the write up?

My question is: Does it make sense to install or should i wait for 4.0?Citing @Burkhard:
We just release 3.3.0 Public Beta, which includes a few fixes
and is compatible with future Rig and Preset file formats.
In order to establish communication between Profiler and PC/MAC Rig Manager revision 1.5 (Build 34) is required!
Like with revision 3.2.1 Performances created under this operating
system are not downward compatible with software revisions before 3.2!
Modifications will get lost! This makes clear why it makes perfect sense to install this public beta.
The more people put it through its paces the earlier the new stuff can come. -
What are 'future rig and preset file formats'?
Is this change to allow for morphing parameters to be saved with a rig? I guess that would make sense but it is just a guess
-
Ok, if it helps to decrease waiting time i will install 3.3 at once
-
I'm definitely installing ....
Still a week left in February !
-
Have installed 3.3 and new rigmanager. Rigmanager seems to be faster.
Otherwise all behaves like before so far as i checked. -
Installed 3.3
- had once this ufo artificial sound while loaded profile from RigManager
- later for one rig (also loaded from RM) CABINET button was off but I couldn't engage it by pressing it.But I don't have any evidence of it, except for what I'm writing.
-
I almost thought that 4.0 would come out But I'm happy that things are happening!
kaos.bin has been modified February 11th and rig manager February 4th so who knows how ready the next update is -
I get the feeling that this 3.3 is a brief last step before taking the larger leap to 4.0.
It feels like they're making sure there's a solid base for people to fall back on if 4.0 turns out to have teething troubles. I've updated. All is well -
were there any new stomps?
-
As far as I can tell, there isn't anything new apart from a couple of bug fixes. The release notes say that it is compatible with future file formats, so I guess they mean Rigs with morphing and/or the new delays, although neither are included in this release. I guess they've changed the KAOS file structure to accommodate the upcoming features and want to make sure all works properly before rolling out 4.0. It'd make sense, at least.

all your profiles, rigs , etc,, still work/ sound the same?
thanks so much,, -
