For lead guitars I used 2 profiles blended together (cover is quad tracked).
First one is 6505 KSE and second 5150. Scooped mids and gain on Kemper (remember - less gain = the heavier and more prominent tone we can get!)
I got rig of cardboard sound by taking of couple of dB at 500Hz. Thats the whole rhythm guitars process. HP and LP filters are must obviously.
For lead I used random, good sounding factory Kemper profile. I even don't remember the name. Just went through the profiles and stuck with the best sounding
