Hi guys.
On friday my Kemper Powerhead and my dxr12 and dxr10 finally arrived. I was able to do a short test of the dxr 10 and it was so good that I didn't even unpack the dxr12...
Since sunday I'm in hospital and so I couldn't do any further testing.
Nonetheless I'm wondering which setting is the "correct" one for kemper+dxr10? Should I increase Volume at the dxr10 and keep it low on the kemper or the other way around? Is there a sound difference? I'm new to all of this so I want to get the best possible sound.
Furthermore, should I have both of the "eqs" on the dxr10 on off or should I have them switched to foh/main etc.?
Thx for your help!

Input2 -3db on kpa Monitor out -20db
Dsp off
Hpf off -
When I used my DXR10 I had it on full and controlled the volume from the Kemper. DSP was off but I had the HPF at 100hz to remove some of the boominess
-
Wow, I never had it on full.
Max. 10 o'clock on its volume.
Still plenty loud. -
Maybe Raoul was not sending -20 but much less...

Thx a lot for the fast response. I will try that when I'm home from hospital....maybe today or tomorrow

During mobile band practice I usually run -8db on the Yamaha and control the volume from the KPA. At home (studio) I run the KPA through a mixer and keep the Yamaha's at 0db (12 o'clock).
Cannot detect any tonal difference, just volume either way. Very nice. I love my YamahasAndy

Yep I'd turn the KPA right down and slowly increase the volume

I guess so, otherwise your head would have exploded a long time ago. -
Raoul, it's less practical to manage but I believe you'd have a better sound going the other route

I don't use the DXR any more I've gone IEM's

I thought of going IEM too but I've got headphones for quiet practice at home and I needed some "noise makers" when playing at friend's house or at school...
