I have bought a fantastic guitar! This one.

Yahoo! Now is the time to play Purple Haze again. I havent checked the RE in the last 2 years for Hendrix rigs and so much has happened.
MBritt first, DI Profiles and so on ...

What is your recommendation for a Jimi Profile. Which effect? the univibe as stomp??? Tipps appreciated! cu

I have scanned my PC for rigs and yes there was a rig buried on my HD somewhere called

VSP - Mars Purple Plex - downloaded long ago and never used it, sounds pretty close, any further hints?

But those VSP (Vintage Sound Project) rigs are very good. Out of the box a good purple sound, 1967.

Until now my favourite is the purple from the VSP vintage sound project, downloadable from the kemper area for 2 years now

I have used the VSP purple rig now. there is a new video on youtube with my new strat. sounds really genuine to my ears.

btw: @JSB how did you manage to make the photo visible here? thx
