strange noise over clean sounds

  • HI everybody
I play mostly clean sounding profiles...(Kemper into Yamaha HS80M studio monitors)
Оccasionally i hear strange sounds ,like dying battery distortion, over my totally clean sound....
i check all the cabels ...everthing is ok
when i tilt the Kemper Head and then back in place, the strange distortion is gone and everthing is ok...
sometimes this strange sound gone by itself....
    :(((
    any help?

    Thank you

  • my problem is still here....after disconnecting cabels from main outputs, and all kind of reset, this"distored" sound over clean is there(i use headphones now)...
i remove rear panel and now-NO PROBLEM....after 10 hours everything is ok....i am really confused
    any ideas?????? ?(

  • Check your noise gate. You might have it too low, and it's leaving in some pickup noise.

Or it could be ground loop noise. Try lifting the ground on your output to the monitor.

It could also be the result of a bad cable letting in interference. More than likely, your cable going to your monitors isn't shielded and is picking up electrical interference, which could come from anything from dimmable lights or bad electricity in the wall to simply running the audio cable over a power cable. Try a cable with better shielding or of a higher quality, but first, try a different cable (just in general).

  • i check everything ....changing cabels .ground switches..noise gate.....this "battery dying distortion" is occasionally....when i tilt the head is gone for a while.....
and when i remove rear panel no problem anymore....I would describe this sound like a hard cliping digital distortion in the background over my clean sound...i dont use monitors now ,only headphones.....tilting the amp or move it is gone for a while..
but why everything is ok without rear panel?!?.... some pressure on components?? or bad joints....??
    ;(;(;(

  • More than likely it's a grounding issue. If you're getting that even on headphones, you might want to contact Kemper support.
