Hi people. I was wondering, can someone help me dial in an authentic Metallica clean sound for ONE, Enter Sandman, Sanitarium, To Live is to Die etc? I think they used a JC-120 but I tried that and it sounds like its missing important ingredients. For instance on ONE intro. I think It has a Chorus, but what else? Same goes for Sandman, Sanitarium etc.
Please help me get Metallicas - Clean tone on - One - Sanitarium - Enter Sandman intro etc

Hi Victor,
if I remember correctly M. Wagener has done a signature rig pack (bundle) containing a clean Kirk Hammet profile. If that is what you are after, you may find it in the factory rigs of the KPA or in the download area of KPA's homepage.
Hope this'll help

One very important thing is new strings!!

ADA MP1 profile maybe?

I always use this : "mesa mark V clean +" by STEPH.L , one of the best clean profile, especially for clean Metallica tone. Enjoy

You need a Roland Jazz amp, new strings, EMG pickups and at last James' hands

Not sure about the other ones, but the intro to "Enter Sandman" requires EMG pickups for that extra clarity. The amp profile itself is not as important in this case. Any sparkling clean profile with a good amount of chorus engaged will work.

- They only started using EMGs around Justice. Master of Puppets was passives.
- Enter Sandman is an acoustic, and so is One I think. Live they used to Jazz Choruses, not sure if they still do.
The Amp Factory's "Remember Me" profile is included with the Kemper factory profiles, incidentally.

You sure Enter Sandman is an Acoustic? Sounds really EMG-60-ish to me... might have double, triple or quadruple guitars though...

They doubled the clean part (Roland Jc 120) with an acoustic
