SPDIF Stereo Balance (sorry, wrong forum, should have been Q&A for profiler)

I'm using SPDIF out into a Lexicon reverb, and it's getting a higher level on the left channel than the right. Is there something wrong with my unit? Any way to balance the stereo SPDIF output? I could even get away with a mono SPDIF output, as I'm not using any stereo effects on the Kemper at the moment, but hopefully this would be a last resort since I might want to in the future.
