how to export/back-up a "cabinet preset"

  • Have you saved these cabinets as "Cabinet Presets"?

If you have already done that, make a Back Up file. The Cabinet Presets are automatically saved in the Kemper Backup.

If you have not saved Cabinet Presets, do that first.

Select the Cabinet a Rig that contains a cabinet that you like, and press the "Save" button. You will be offered the choice of saving the Cabinet preset.

After you have created all the Cabinet Presets that you want, make a Back Up file. The Cabinet Presets are automatically saved in the Kemper Backup.

  • I ve got a lot of favorite cabs into my kpa and i wonder to know "how to export only these preset cabs"?

    In addition to pults advice.
Take your backup with suffix .kpabackup and rename on PC with suffix .rar. You can expand now with winzip, 7Zip or similar.
In the expanded directory you' ll find a subdirectory "Cabinet". There are all your presets.
To transfer back to the KPA just copy these files to your KPA-formated USB stick (root or shared) for import in KPA,
The KPA needs to run in Browse Mode when you plug in the USB stick. :!:
Use the Option external storage and follow the instruction.
This way works for Rigs as well for any other presets and effects.
