[SOLVED] I can't see text input while quoting and posting from iPhone or iPad

... and it sounds like it was no mean feat either, so extra thanks and kudos must go to the team:
we've learned that this all is caused by the text editor component they use (the text editor is the part where you type you message in). apparently there is an alternative but switching this part out will cause some work on our end so it might take a little bit of time.

Do you guys with mobile devices (never used one myself) see 2 repeated "Smilies" in the selection, namely "Pinch" and "Wacko"?
I wonder if the mods can delete them or if its an unalterable oversight by the devs.

From a desktop-browsing perspective, the software feels a little unfinished to me. I've 4 or 5 concerns, but I won't bang on about them 'cause I'm sure the issues will crop up sooner or later where appropriate.
Say, do the extra avatars, the ones embedded with the quotes, confuse the interface at all for you guys on devices? They do here, and I'm on a 30" monitor, so I have to wonder...

The look fine on my desktop. There are no avatars in the quotes on iOS (or signatures either, for that matter. Very streamlined).
