Browser Encoder cause jumps/stops while browsing

    Hi,
    last week my Kemper received and like it pretty well.
    But one thing makes me nervous.
    When I use the Browser encoder, the diplayed lists often jumps over two lines, when I turn it one step, or it just do nothing.
    When I use the Rig-keys, all works fine.
    A friendly Kemper technician told me, that this is normal.
    But I'm still nervous about this behaviour, because for me it's disturbing, because it happens very often.
    Are your Browser encoder behave in the same manner?

    I've had the same issue, not with the Browse knob but with the Type knob, but with (beta) FW 4.0.3 it looks like it behaves normal, no more stops of jumps.

    so you mean it's kind of a software problem?
    That would contradict the answer of the support, that this behavior is absolutely normal.
    So your browser encoder works normal, as I understand?
    I'll check out the 4.0.3 beta.
    For me it's unbelievable that a dedicated browser knob isn't capable to exactly mark an parameter.
    Not on a unit that costs 1600€......

    Yeah, it's a software bug. It has indeed been fixed in the latest beta. Be sure to back up your KPA if you install the beta and check the threads dedicated to it, as there are still bugs that could potentially ruin your experience.
