Awesome! Especially the sound of the rhythm guitar.
That time when you think "how they come with an idea to play like this".
Yeah the rhythm guitar is doing crazy almost mathematical formulas

Canzoni Italiana!
Sometimes I'm a friend of old Italian hits of the 50s, 60s and early 70s.
Today I heard Roberto Murolo again and I thought this song could be shown here under this thread:
And oh... I love this song!
It's so plain, basic, but very convincing.

Yep - it's a nice song and very originally.

That is so chilled out! I assume Prince is on the guitar.
I assume Prince is on the guitar
Not sure , at some point the speaker thanks 'the guitarist' but either it's Prince when in was not a star or another session man
BTW it's a perfect soundtrack to new year's eve tonite, so cranks the vol. up and get you boots on the dance-floor

Bass-Guitar?
Prince is on keys, with his "old friend" Andre Cymose on bass, and Bobby Z on drums.
EDIT: No idea who the guitarist is.
Thanks to you all for the nice recommendations!
I recently found out about "Tiny Desk" concerts, they make quality video recordings of bands/artists playing in a small room. I don't know the context exactly but there is some nice music on that site. Very intimate concerts since the room is so small. Here is a four piece band from Mali, Songhoy Blues: http://www.npr.org/event/music/422880725/songhoy-blues
On the topic of music from Mali I must mention the album Toumani & Sidiki which sounds fantastic to me. The first song of the album:
@Snicir
Thanks for this great hint!
Since I was in Maghreb for work I found a way in to the whole world of Arabic Music. There are so many differences and culture styles. That's impressive!
Especially Mauritania, Mali, Niger and the whole Sahel are unfortunately unregarded, unheard and I tend to say ignored from the west.
But there are very, very long traditions of music-schools and music education with a high standard. The music is often very sensitve and properly subtile like in your example.
But all this in danger by daesh and similar groups before this achievements discovered from north and west.
Unfortunately.

The music that I heard agrees very much with what you are saying. Do you have any personal favorites that you recommend?
Mostly I have some days where I prefer a special kind of music. I don't know so much musicans from there. But I like there grooves so much. That's high level.
Here are some specials in my opinion:
Sona Jobarteh & Band
Kirina's New Music School
Often the musicans change in Bands so there are often different members. And additionally their names are often so similar that I can't remember them. Everybodies name is Traorè, Diabatè, Diarra or Dembele,
And here Hérémankono from Burkina Faso. Very special.
But all of these musicans - especialy from Mali - are heros in music. They play with risk of their live.
All my respect to them.

Thanks! I just listened to the long concert, will check out the remaining ones as well.
It really is a fantastic time to be interested in music, so much to discover and enjoy.
No guitars at all, but Too Many Zoos. Saw them in the subway one day, entertaining to watch.
This instrumentation needs real hard work! But I like this attempt to make something new.
It is good that there are such musicians. The music rests on one point since 1980.
Edit: And its raining paper-money at the end. Reasonably!

I remember visiting NYC on September 2001 and I remember how bucket drummers impressed me.
This is just example that you can play on everything:
Now, this is the time, that you old fellas can block me in your settings.
I wanna keys so bad...
