One thing I like to do occasionally is make guitar arrangements of piano or orchestral pieces, which is pretty hard to do if you want to preserve the rhythm/melody/harmony/counterpoint. This guy does an amazing arrangement for "Summertime" by one of my favorite composers, George Gershwin:

I'm an unashamed MOR guy so right now I'm going through a Cast kick (yes that one lead by the bassist from The La's), it's all because a friend of mine posted that he was going to see them play, I had honestly totally forgotten them.

Making a break in my "ethno-studies" I went back to my "pure rock roots" for a few days:

Cant get more pure rock than this,right;Besides it must have been one of the main albums which influenced good ol´Eddie..I mean he even hired the singer 15 years later.. ..the mother of "california hardrock".

These days I haven't found a lot of modern music to inspire me, hence I listen to mostly classical music. But this tune in particular I've been listening to a ton of and really love:

As I told you last year, Kulle, Jess has been one of my fave guitarists for a few years now.
This is simply because of her sensitivity and musicality.
This track proves the point, not least because it's nowhere near her usual, bluesy / jazzy style. She can rip off George Benson to Larry Carlton and anything in-between, but this is "new territory" for her in may ways. Heck, she's not exactly a tremolo gal either, but handles it with aplomb. Of course. It's Jess.
Oh Jess, I love you!

@Monkey_Man
Yes, I remember and I'm with you. And the point of sensitivity and musicality is absolut right! We recognize this by the fact that she has exactly on this guitar a play, of which I didn't believe that is possible with this plank! Awesome! -
