I'm so pleased to discover talented kids taking the guitar road.

  • Remember the Hang over movies? In Part 2, this is the Thai band playing that classic from the 80's...I am gonna play this but with more of a SKA back beat behind it. Love this shit...ow the 80;s...:P

  • First time I heard about these guys was when I was watching something from Neill Blomkamp. Normally this is not even my style of music but you just have to appreciate how fearless these two are.

I may need help parsing the whole thing from someone who understands South Africa better than me - I seem to remember that Monkey_Man lived there - I am not sure if I find Yolandi more attractive or terrifying.

  • ToneDeaf Wow....yeah....my kids are into rap and hip hop but this is some crazy shit. Nice Flea and Manson cameo. I also watched another Die Antwoord called "fatty boom boom". If you want a real crazy trip, watch this one! And 52 million views. One of the comments below this video pretty much sums it up...."My parents caught me watching this. I switched to porn because that's easier to explain."

  • I was in a small club concert yesterday (50-60 people) with David Lindorfer.

A guitar player from the city I live near.

I had a seat in the first row - 2 m in front of the artist and even today I'm still very upset by this performance.

So many wonderful flowers bloom in hiding. ( I had to buy his 2 CD's)

Honestly, I did not dare to link that one here after I watched it. This 'Ugly Boy' seemed to be one of the tamest from their repertoire.

I think if they played somewhere close to me, I would definitely go to the concert and probably would be very afraid the whole time =O

  • Of the things I was expecting the least, this is very high on the list.

James LaBrie making melodic death metal. And it's actually listenable.

  • nakedzen "Static Impulse" album is great too! Through his solo works I have gained a completely different impression than I had before. And the vocals sit perfect in the mix - that is not the case on every Dream Theater album.

Because of Marco Sfogli I bought a 7 string guitar - I really like his playing on the albums!

  • And it's more than rare, that a singer gives so much free space to other band members on his solo records (sharing the vocal duties with the growling drummer). Some really catchy tunes on these albums!
