    Unnecessarily talented man  =O

Check out his "One Man Genesis" and One Man RUSH" videos  :thumbup:

    Cheers !

The adjective for metal is metallic. But not so for iron ... which is ironic.

  • In the words of a certain wise philosopher... "HOLY CRAP BALLS!" That is some serious talent to be able to play all those instruments so well. Definitely going to be checking out his other stuff! Thanks for sharing this, HT!

    Shred 'til yer dead,

  • I loved the unmasked era of Kiss, especially the Bruce Kulick years. At the time, they worked with several songwriters, including Desmond Child, who like it or not had an indisputable influence on modern rock music. The song ‘Hide Your Heart’ on Hot in the Sade album (1989) was written by Stanley / Desmond Child / Holly Knight originally for the Crazy Nights album (1987). Some reason, the song didn’t end up on the '87 record and Stanley later offered to Bonnie Tyler. So it may have been that we first heard the song on Bonnie’s 1988 album.

A year later, Paul also came to mind and ‘Hide Your Heart’ became an MTV-hit.

Ironically, it also appeared on the record of an ex-Kiss member in the same month the 'Sade album was released. (Good ol' Ace :))

And it must say that this version sounded damn good too.

John Lennon's favourite artist and band too!

  • Yeah ... Breitbart with an obituary for Little Penniman Richard.

It's like a wild boar writing an obituary on the English sward. That borders on mortification.

Anyone who has a garden and wild boar next door will know what I mean.

Besides that, Little Richard was definitely one of the big ones.

I had an idea this wouldn't have been fresh, but thought it was cool anyway.

Cheers for the heads up mate!

  • Marty Friedman apparently believes that the main reason the Japanese are so big (and skilled) on guitar is that the Shamisen has been used for so long in their traditional music.

So, I figured I'd share some cool Shamisen clips from Yoshida Brothers and Wagakki Band. Been meaning to share WB for a long time but haven't got around to looking up links for my faves, so just a couple o' recent clips will have to do, but they've been around for a long time:
