How do I do a simple expression pedal control of the gain?
I have read the manual and looked at a youtube video but it isn't computing.
In fact I've now gone into screensaver mode:)
OK I'm thick but

Do you have a remote? Its not necessary but easier to explain how to get a quick set up. Read up on Morphing in the manuals, essentially that is how I would do it.
-
Nope no remote mate.

Thanks mate, I did look at that video but isnt that morphing 2 patches and not controlling the gain by a pedal?
Or is that the best way to do it? -
System menu
Page 6 or 7 depending if your pedal is 1 or 2Function
Change to morphGo to a clean rig
Push your pedal forward, leave it there.
Turn gain up to desired levelNow move your pedal and watch the LEDs around gain.
At the same time you can do the same with Bass Mid Treble and all. -
That is what morphing does
-
Thanks mate, worked a treat and sounds great.

Yaaay, I finally helped someone!
Just learned this myself today so it was fresh in my mind.
A bit ironic, huh. -
You certainly did help.
What confused me was the (in my head) morphing as opposed to controlling one parameter.
But obviously morphing does a better job anyway.
Thanks again. -

Thanks again.Morphing IS the way to control a single parameter (or multiple parameters) with an expression pedal

This. Make this a sticky!!

Yes, with one expression pedal, I wish 2 expression pedals would control separate parameter within one rig

Yes! The number of people who think that morphing is just a gimmick I suspect aren't really getting what morphing actually is!
