Am I overlooking something or is the Dual Chrystal delay type really missing from the Reference Manual and the Addendum?

@DaanJM - Dual Chrystal Delay is a preset not a delay type. Dual Chrystal Delay is a Dual Delay type. And, yes, dual delays are listed in both the 5.0 addendum and the 5.0 reference manual.
When I turn the TYPE knob when an effects slot is selected, I get the following screen, showing the effect types, including the Dual Chrystal type:

Interesting. I hadn't noticed that earlier. One of the Dual Chrystal presets is based on a Dual Delay and the other 2 are based on the Dual Chrystal Delay. It appears that you have found a missing write up on this delay. I'd suggest you notify support so they can correct (or explain the absence).
