Hi,
I couldn't find any infos about the weight and dimensions of the KPA online & can't measure mine yet. It would great to know at least the dimensions, so I can get a case for it and be ready once it's here
Thanks,
M.

I'm also having trouble finding this info.
Going by memory here. 38x18x22cm 5 kg. Somebody posted the same question and I've measured it....was this week. If you search my posts you should find it...
37.5cm x 16.5cm x 21.4cm (length x depth x height)
14 3/4" x 6.5" x 8.5"
What are you guys using for cases? I saw over at TGP some guys are buying high end camera cases but they are 300 bucks....ouch! Any other solutions out there?
Namba Gear make a bag for the KPA. There is a thread here on the argument
I guess the Namba Gear is out of stock at Thomann.

Shipping in 2-5 days, you can order it by Kemper directly as well.
How do you order it from Kemper? I see nothing on their site about it.
Just drop them an e-mail, they'll get back to you.
Thomann sells the Kemper bag here : http://www.thomann.de/pl/kempe…r_profiling_amplifier.htm
Aaa.. this is the one you call Namba Gear ..Lools like it's still available...
I bought this one and received it yesterday. I think it's perfect!

My KPA measures 6.8" from the tip of the bottom knobs to the back edge of the green hood. I just finished researching a bunch of hard case options. Here are the ones that made my shortlist and that other KPA owners might want to look into:
CNB mic case, $56.50 shipped (within the US)
[Blocked Image: http://www.rondomusic.net/photos/cases/mc40006tn1.jpg]
The mic holder is removable, and Rondo told me that the center divider is soft, so cutting it out to make room for the KPA should be simple enough. You'd have to remove the carrying strap and strap buttons from the KPA to get it to fit and provide your own padding, though. Also, it's nominally 7" deep (the KPA is 6.8" front-to-back).
Platt 1426 ABS product display case, $81.93 shipped
[Blocked Image: http://a248.e.akamai.net/origin-cdn.volusion.com/ztoa5.9jdea/v/vspfiles/photos/1426-2.jpg]
Nominally 7" deep, has removable foam cubes so you can customize the interior fit. IMHO the nicest looking option I found.
Gator GU-1813-06-DF, $95.12 shipped
[Blocked Image: http://www.gatorcases.com/userfiles/images/ProductImages/thumbs/GU-DF-Front-Temp.jpg_350.jpg]
Interesting in that it has a rubberized exterior and closes with a zipper. Also has the foam cubes for a customized fit. Nominally 6.9" deep.
Platt 707 blow-molded case, $78.55 shipped

This is the one I ultimately decided to get. Again, foam cubed interior. I chose it over the Platt ABS case because I have more faith in PE as a shell material, and it's 7.125" deep inside. I'll post a review when it arrives.
Good findings burningyen!
The Kemper specs are found on the home page "specifications page":

Forum member Andy i has just spent a few months touring the USA. Canada and France with this case.
The case is covered in stickers, but still perfect, his Kemper looks like it just came out the box. ...great case.

Very pleased to see you here, looking forward to your Floyd 'rigs'.
The pressures off me, I'm just going to sit back and have fun with your rigs if you'll be so kind as to share them.

Thanks! Waiting for your review.
The Platt 707 case arrived, but unfortunately I misjudged how they measured the interior dimensions. I had assumed that the dimensions included at least some of the interior foam padding, but they are in fact the interior dimensions of the hard shell with all padding removed, which obviously does us no good. So I'm returning the case and will likely be picking up one the double bass drum pedal bags that others have discussed.
Here's a slightly oversized amp head case which the Kemper would fit in. Might need to add just a little bit more foam to prevent moving around. ~$150 USD

Road Cases USA will make an ATA case to exact dimensions starting at $179 USD.

Affordable cases looks like they'll do any amp head case for $189
A lunchbox style amp head case looks like the best ready to go option. The Epiphone Valve Jr looks close to the dimensions of the Kemper so I imagine anything that would fit it will fit the Kemper.
Hi! I'm looking for info about the weight difference between the poweramp version and the standard rack version. Thomann is the only place where I found specs, but both have the same weight???? 5,4Kg If this is the standard rack weight (and I believe it is) the poweramp version may weight about 3-4kg more?
