Just updated last night and I see the new delays in the delay section .Pretty cool . With the update , there was a folder that had to be added in to get the new delays .Was anything in there besides the delay algorithms ?

It was not delay algorithms but factory presets that show cool examples that make use of the new delays. Apart from that you don't need to add anything additional.

Go to https://www.kemper-amps.com/downloads/10 New Delay Demonstration Preset Pack (October 2016)
Follow the advise in the PDF-File.
Good Luck -
so I just got my kemper yesterday and bought a usb stick to update it to 5.0... the delay instructions tell you to use an empty usb stick? do I need to remove the update I had just put on it and then put the delay samples on?? or can I keep the update on the usb?

You can leave it on. Or take it off The Kemper will recognise it has already been done if you leave it on and ignore it and doesn't need it to import the delays.

Anyone compared boot times between the last v4 and the current v5?
The last V4 was pretty quick, compared to its predecessors. -
I haven't used a stop watch but to me , my Kemper boots up pretty much in the same amount of time as when it ran on version 4

Isn't that kinda like saying "I don't have ears, but to me that one sound was pretty much as loud as that other one"?
I don't know why this, of all things, was what I had to bring to the table today, I have never cared about boot-time as long as I owned a Kemper, but there it is. Not trying to start a fight!
