I have used it for a few different tunes as the only guitar player for 3 years now.
It is definitely passable and no one in the audience will think twice.
A hair of latency that you might notice but you get used to it quickly. -
What is the difference transpose x pedal pitch?
I try the two with the same settings and for my ears sound the same...

I use it for Come As You Are by Nirvana and it works great

They say that latency increases on the lower strings because the greater wavelength takes longer to process. Still, I did hot for teacher live with it. Went well enough.

One of the bands I'm in plays some stuff in F and I hate using a Capo, so I decided to use the Transposer in one of the songs. I preset it into a stomp so I could play it in E
Worked REALLY well except...After the song in F, the bandleader went straight into a slow blues in A without any warning (that I have to start) and I had forgotten that I had the transposer on, so I just played in A
Looking across the stage I could see the bass player panicking, thinking his bass had gone out of tune. I watched as he tuned ALL his strings as we continued to play the tune that should have been in A but we were now playing it in Bb.
Realization set in just in time for me to tell the harmonica player what had happened before he started his solo.
One of the funniest (and most embarrassing) on-stage experiences I've had.
I bought the bass player several beers and I now use a Capo!

I have any alternate tunings set to a slot so when I switch songs tuning goes away
