Toaster has no output unless I start with RIG held!

I was playing a concert the other day and I thought during our last set that my power was fading in and out. At one point my volume cut all the way out! Then it faded back in super loud!

I'm on 5.0.3.

So the next day I got home and tried it out. There was no output! Input LED active, no output. Then I restarted with RIG held and the thing came back to life. Later that day I started it again and the same thing happened. Restarted with RIG, and comes back to life.

I'm hoping I don't have to ship it back for service but I'm thinking it may be this way.

Do y'all think this could be a hardware or software issue, or both?
