Are Volume Units in Amplifier, Stomps and Effects the same?

I'm revisiting my strategy for boosts (via morphing, stomps, effects) and I noticed that in the Amplifier settings, Volume is noted with a dB unit, but in the Green Scream and Studio EQ there is no dB (or other) unit listed. (I have not done a thorough review of all possible places one could adjust the volume)

Is this an oversight and are the units consistent when adjusting volume in the various places you can adjust it? Or do the settings without a dB utilize a different unit/calibration?

Found this quote in the 5.0 reference manual:

The "Volume" control allows to change the gain for driving the next distortion stage. The output volume of the stomp effect can be boosted, or attenuated, by +/-24 dB, which is more than usual.

I assume that implies the unit is dB.
