It's not necessary to confirm the entry or close / exit the mini-menu on the KPA before it sticks?

Nope Nicky. You just keep pressing 3rd soft button until you reach number of stars you want to rate. Then after you selected your rating / you stopped scrolling, the "mini-menu" disappears. And for some users (me) the rating goes to Rig Exchange server, for others it doesn't ( @dpeters95 ).

The rig is being rated using Kemper's interface, not Rig Manager app, so I think it does not matter, how (or if at all) does @dpeters95 exit Rig Manager -or maybe I did not understand your question clearly @paults....

Well, if it was not sent to Rig Exchange server immediately, than I was silently thinking it will never be.

There might be something wrong with your profile @dpeters95 something, that even you cannot check/repair.

This is the case for investigation with tech support. I guess you are not THE ONE AND ONLY.

Here's a slim possibility, Dennis:

Something like Little Snitch™ is blocking uploads to the RE address. You can set it to, for instance, listen to but not talk to any specific address.

If you have such an app, it might be an idea to check its settings.

To my understanding, if Rig Manager is able to contact Rig Exchange server, then sending ratings from Kemper Profiler (using Rig Manager) should also work. UNLESS rating is being sent to Rig Exchange server using uncommon IP port, which might be blocked.

At some point, early on, I think the Kemper staff suggested using File...Exit... instead of the Red X. From what I remember, it allowed the Rig Database on your computer to finish updating after the program was closed. It may not matter anymore, but, if it does, perhaps your Rig Database is "playing catch up" with updating while you are using RM, and that prevents the transmission of your Rating.

BINGO!!!

You got it paults! When I rate a profile and choose File/Exit the rating is updated on the online Rig Exchange immediately. I haven't seen the rating appear in my Rig Manager yet but maybe it will happen when I download the next group of new files?

Thanks. This should be posted somewhere highly visible. (He says wondering if it's in the manual but didn't see it )
