Two notes Torpedo.

i tried and the results were less than appealing for me, then again I'm not the greatest profiler either. i have some on rig exchange with a phil x friedman amp and was using the load and mic sims of the torpedo live

Yup, I've used it with (what I consider) great results.

I actually just tried it with the Torpedo Live and did not like the results. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but no matter what cabinet I selected, the bass on the resulting profile was very flubby. Just did not sound good.

My connections were:
amp speaker out -> Torpedo speaker in
Torpedo line out -> Kemper return

If anyone who's done this successfully has some pointers, I'd appreciate it. Because I could not for the life of me dial in a good sound.

Thats my experience too using a Torpedo, the Kemper DI and Impulses in the DAW, a Suhr Reactive Load and Impulses in the DAW, ...

I'm not sure how to advise as I just went through the same process I use for mic sounds and it sounded great. I can't imagine what I did differently.
