Feedback Problem with my kemper

Hello Folks!

I have a problem of feedbacks. When I put to much gain on the amps it starts feedbacking. IIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiii! Is this an option?

I tried to isolate the problem. But still I don't understand what the problem is. I tried several guitars. I even have it with my headphones and absolutely no sound strait to the guitar. It only stops when I lower the gain or put the noise gate higher.

Any trick?

Squealing Feedback, when you are not playing? What guitars/pickups? How high is the Gain set on the KPA? What kind of amp/speakers? What kind of headphones?

This is possible with headphones, if the gain is set high enough, because many headphones "leak" sound into a room. This is especially true with a combination of high gain, volume, and pickups that are not wax-potted. But, a high enough gain setting will cause any pickup to squeal.

Molded in ear monitors... no leaks... It's stratocaster with single coils and a SG with P90. Same problem. To me it isn't due to the guitar as no sound can reach it.
