Additional "Cab-Sim-Off"-Switch for Monitor- and Speaker-Out for powered KPAs

  • I could imagine it would be nice to run a powered KPA on stage with a FRFR-Monitor in front of me and a KPA-driven Guitar-Cab behind me. For this reason it would be necessary to have two "cab-sim-off"-switches. One for the powered Monitor out (Speaker-Jack) and a second for the Line-Monitor-Out-Jack. It would be possible to link the FRFR-Monitor-cab to the Line-Monitor-Out-Jack with "cab-sim on" and the guitar-cab linked to the speaker out with "cab-sim off".
It would be possible to balance the different volumes by tweaking the FRFR-Cab (f.e a Yamaha DXR10) by it's volume knob and both cabs simultaneously by the Monitor-Output-volume-knob (and it's Output-EQ) in the Output-Section.

It could also be possible to use the direct-out-Jack for the FRFR-Cab, but there's no Output-EQ for this signal-path. Besides this, the Kemper-Team recommends to link only one output-path to the master-volume-knob, because sometimes sound-impacts may occur if more than one path is linked.

So the suggestion would make the output section even more versatile.
