Expression Pedal stops working 2 or 3 times per gig

    I use a Mission EP-1 Expression pedal and a TRS lead to connect it to Remote 'pedal 6' connection.


    For the last few months I've found that it stops working out of the blue for no reason.


    I have it set to control morphing ( volume usually ) in my main bank of sounds. Its a bit of a pain because suddenly you have to bend down and unplug the pedal then plug it in again to get it to work.


    I've tried a couple of different leads and it still happens.


    Anyone else have this issue ?

    I had almost the same experience with a Dunlop DVP-3 pedal for Wah.
    I started to give the wah effect randomly. After some time no wah was available anymore.
    After some investigation it appeared to be the pedal itselve which is broken.
    I also changed my volume pedal (also Dunlop DVP-3) to the wah position and that worked flawlesly.


    So do you have the possibility to try another Mission EP-1 in your case, It might be the pedal!
