I have a question about the Kemper Looper.
I use Ableton in my live rig and in the studio when playing solo.
I have a ton of loop in Ableton…i.e....pre recorded guitar and drum tracks, that I trigger via my Looptimus midi foot controller, while performing. I’ve been using the Infinity Looper by Pigtronics with Ableton because it receives a midi clock that allows me to trigger the loop AND it starts at the top of the next bar.. So far, I can only get the Kemper Looper to sync with the tempo but when I arm the looper to record it starts wherever I trigger it to start. No matter how perfect I am, it does not seem to trigger at the top of the measure or beat hence, it still because it it’s not truly locked.
Also, the Pigtronix stops when I stop Ableton— the Kemper looper keeps playing. Is there ANYthing I can do….?
I need to use the Kemper with its controller and looper in conjunction with Ableton as the master, controlled by the Looptimus Midi controller and have them all sync so I can simplify my rig.
