[SOLVED] SPDIF output - clicking noise

I'm trying to record via SPDIF into my Babyface Pro for reamping purpose and I get this really strange noise while I'm playing, like a metronome

Whatever output I select on SPDIF I have the same noise. If I record through analog I have no problem at all.
What It could be?

I'm using also a coaxial/toslink digital converter like this:

There are a couple things you can try:

- Make sure your converter and babyface are set to slave
- Look that the Babyface is set as main playback and recording device for your computer
- If you're on windows, make sure "disable all enhancements" is checked in your sound device properties
