hello all. i hooked my bass to input jack of kemper and loaded some bass rig profiles. am connected to input one of my interface with a xlr cable connected to output of the kemper. i record guitar this way, and have no issues, but the bass was clicking and popping. i thought battery was dead for pickups and switched it. same thing. i then hooked bass directly to input one of my interface direct, and it is crystal clear. any suggestions?

Check the Input LED. Perhaps the input is clipping.

Interesting thread, I too am having issues using bass with my kemper, I have been recording with serveral basses and I am getting alot of noise with each bass I try and each bass profile. Adding a gate does nothing to affect the noise, which is kind of like interferance. The noise is captured on the recorded track and is present throught monitors and my dxr10 Any ideas?

I suggest, you open a support ticket and send a recording plus a complete backup of your Profiler reflecting the setup used for the recording.
