Is it ok to hit the red peak indicator for the input

I hit the red light peak indicator for the input occasionally I set the clean sense to -1.5 are any of you having to go higher than that? Using passive tone zone dimarzio pickups

Hitting it occasionally is not a problem. CK has stated that the KPA is quite hard to clip and distort

I hit it occasionally and it seems fine, no distortion...so CK is right
