Is there any way to navigate quickly thru the profiles on the KPA? With all these available profiles it's very time consuming to find rigs on the KPA, I know we can select by name etc, but those 4 navigation buttons ideally should be programmed so, if you hold them up/down they scroll fast thru the presets, having to hit it each time to go up/down is very slow..anyone agree? How about in the KPA MK II adding a keypad with #'s so we can directly go to rig # 3997, just by punching in the #'s and hitting enter? come on KPA you guys are keyboard people you know it can easily be done..
Profile navigation wish..

Hi,
If you see a browse display you can use the rigs buttons. Left/right 1 rig per press and up/down 10 rigs per step. Not optimal but sometimes helpful.

Not anymore, Mats, it has changed with the last FW update. Now L/R move the previous/next column and up/down to the previous/next rig, in browser mode.

Ooops! My bad. I forgot. The behaviour I described is still used when assigning MIDI prg chg #.

Hi
I think the behaviour of the navigation is a bit weird.
If you are in the rig browse window and use the rig buttons to navigate the UPPER button will take you UP in the list of rigs and the lower BUTTON will of course take you further down the list of rigs.
However, if you are in the start up meny (were just the present rig is shown) the same buttons acts oposite. The UPPER button is then taking you down in the list of rigs (10 at the time) and the LOWER button takes you UP.
I find this inconsecvent behavior to be a bit anoying.I asked support about that but they discussed it and then I got the answer that they compared it to how a TV remote control acts. I think it´s a difference since you travel up in channel numbers (efen thought it could be down if you se a list of channels).
In the KPA you go UP in a list of rig names and not in a number.Anyone agree or am I the only weird person

I agree Mike! A bit weird and I find myself always pressing the wrong one, at the point that I do it now only with the pedals...
-
I agree too! It confuses me as well...

One other wish.
When you navigate with the RIG buttons it travels 10 rigs at a time if you are in the main meny.
If you jump into the Rigs menu it travels one rig at a time. That is ok BUT if you want to travel a long distance and fast you need to click a lot on the button or turn the browser weel a lot.
A common behavior of other electronic equipment is that if you push and HOLD a button for some second it speeds up the transportation.
We have that function on our micro wave oven and its usual also when setting the time on a digital clock.

Correction: Sort by date added to my machine would be fantastic. A Favorites would be cool.

Sort by date would be fantastic.
Chris??? just push the top right soft button 'till it shows "by date"

Sort by date would be fantastic.
Chrislike pressing "Sort by ..." soft button in the main browse page?

I meant to say date added, does it do that?
I will check when I get home.
Thanks -

Yes, and that is BS - they fixed what was not broken - the new navigation takes a long time to move around

Date last modified.

I also preferred the other way: quicker to get where you want

The date he uploaded the rig on his KPA he meant.
I must say, after I edited a few user profiles and replaced the originals with them, I miss the original date grouping. Now they are all mixed up, being ordered by modification date. One more reason to give us some sort of grouping facility (tags, directories, whatever).

Please, Mr. Kemper implement this for us !
