why all the monkeys & apes in profile avatars?

Once a user had a Monkey avatar and was banned for that. Out of sympathy, the money avatars started to pop up.

Most of these are actual photos, the rest I believe are in solidarity with Monkey Man.

Look.......I say anyone who wants a monkey face avatar, should be allowed to have a monkey face avatar. Of course, I may be a little biased....

He was not banned but hurted a little beeing warned for that.
But what worries me is that Monkey is already absent for a long time. I miss him.!

We all miss the guy. I think it was Ash that said he was Ok.

Yeah I miss him too. Maybe he's just been busy with the Holidays

I also miss Monkey Man and hope is OK.

Sorry for the bad memory of mine! As you said: not banned but warned(which is IMHO as bad).

I spoke to Nicky before Christmas and just relayed a message that every one misses him here and to get his Monkey Hyde back when he can
All seemed well when i spoke to him so i think he may have just been having a break

Understandably he didn't feel at ease getting his Avatar back, Many thought it was crazy that someone would be offended by a Monkey Avatar so many of us got monkey avatars. So again, no he wasn't banned. They don't ban members here for silly things and those who are banned receive many warnings before a ban.

Is the person OP is referring to MonkeyMan!??!!??!
