If a string breaks at home I usually change the whole set but if it is on stage then nobody got time for that.
If a string breaks in the forest, and there's nobody around to hear, does it make a sound?

I'm just thinking about that poor lonely guitar that got left in the woods.

LoL, no doubt.
So I buy this yesterday and post it for sale last night just in case I didn't like it... figuring it would be weeks before it sells and I could change my mind to keep it. Wake up this morning and it's sold. Shit, I didn't really even get to play it man. Made 60 bucks but still, that'll learn me
Haha, love it, kids...yup!!! I really like the BAE stuff. There's a DMP for sale around here but he won't play ball much so I passed. I really want their 1073 but it's just too much ATM. I missed out on a used one for like 1200 bucks
I'm very interested in hearing your thoughts on the WA-87 if you decide to buy it? I've got my sights on it too man!
I'll let you know. But a BAE full EQ for $1200? Wow. I just saw the high pass no-eq going for that.
I just got a Wizard 4x12 w/ Rock 20 speakers which are essentially greenback 20w clones. One of the best built, nicest cabs, I've ever owned!
Sweet rig!
Do strings count?
Oh they count... Otherwise what else are you gonna play with ?! Gahaha

So far I've picked up a secondary SM57, some STRINGS , an Arturia Audiofuse (which is frustratingly faulty so gotta wait for a new one to arrive now ...) some new stands and a Fortin33 (well, technically got it in 2017 but not had chance to plug it in yet!) missed out on a rather nice can dissapointinlgy but got something else to make up for that haha...
Something VERY else! And very exciting that I'm going to post about separately it's got me so riled up

Thanks that'd be great. I know, right, it was gone right away!
Sweet rig!
Thanks man, cheers!
I was all set to just get the WA-87 (coming today) but then lurking and negotiating grabbed a U87ai (wth mount, box, etc) for $2k.
And I can't blame Alcohol. I was just thinking "if you want a U87, just GET a U87 and be done with it."
I'll compare the WA-87 and end up probably selling it. I got it about $75 cheaper than usual used, so flipping it I might break even.
Isn't that sad? Flipping gear before I even get it?!? There HAS to be a word for that!

Sweet, looking forward to that. I haven't even had a chance to turn on my KPA in the past few weeks I'm just so busy with my kids. I've heard such mixed feeling with Arturia products so I've never pulled the trigger on any of it. Maybe someday? Rock on!!

Sounds like my latest, I think the word is "GearWhores" Lmao!
Be interested in Audiofuse review too. That vs a clarett 4pre and Apollo Twin
Motu DP 9 DAW
I might start home recording to my old days.
The mixer is unfortunately not included.
I just traded some guitar pedals and a reactive loadbox for a Darkglass Microtubes 900. Transaction should hopefully be concluded by the weekend.
I was actually saving the funds for a cabinet, but that will have to wait till I can move more gear.
So I got some of the gear. Just waiting on the U87.
So I put the chain together:
WA-87 -> BAE -> WA2A
The WA-87 is used and I am getting a U87 so I was gonna record, compare and resell. But when I took it out of the crate, the metal grill fell off!
So I called to get a return slip.
But the chain sounded nice. I toyed with the VMS ML-1 through the BAE. It was nice but not life-altering. Just a little colored.
The WA-87 sounded really nice. It's a good mic, just maybe not built like a tank or anything. If I bought a new one, I'd take good care of it.
The WA2A was really nice. Just what I expected from an optical compressor.
The chain though was really warm, but not dark, and I was unable to create any sibilance.
Mind you, used the whole thing used would be $2100-2400 so I'd expect it to sound fantastic, and it did.
StudioSlip cover for my Mission Gemini amp. I Chose the Clamshell version in brown, with custom made openings at the rear to have access to the connectors.
In the making as we speak, so no pictures yet.
I bought a 1990 Tom Anderson

Sweet, always wanted one of those!
Picked up this 5150 today. It's a face ripper, never owned one before... gotta try it with the KPA
